The week before I leave for a Disney trip, I always find myself stocking up on my amazon must-haves as well as ordering new things to try out in the parks. After years of visiting the parks and too much money spent, I have narrowed down what is most important Amazon must-haves for a Disney World vacation.
11 Amazon Must-Haves for Disney World
Hand Held Fans: The Disney heat is NO JOKE. Especially in the hight of summer with the added humidity. Long park days are miserable without some kind of relief. Personal fans to keep the air circulating are key for an enjoyable trip. If you want to strap one on to a stroller, my favorite can be found here. If you just want one to hold and then put back in your park bag when you’re not using it, then I recommend this one (it’s also the CUTEST)!
Cooling Towels: To go along with ways to stay cool, cooling towels are a must. Now, you can buy these in the parks, but they are much cheaper to purchase ahead of time. I like these ones because they’re great for a family.
Insulated Water Bottle: Sure, you can buy water in the parks, but that gets very expensive very quickly. There are free cups of ice water available at the quick service locations, but they’re small and it takes a lot of time out of your day to keep getting refills. Instead, bring your own refillable water bottle to have all day long. Insulated is best to keep your water nice and cold. Here is my favorite leak proof insulated water bottle.
Magic Band Protectors: I don’t know about you, but I find that the new magic bands are constantly falling off. I bought this pack of magic band protectors for my family and they have been fantastic. I love the color variety and now no one in my family is losing those expensive magic bands.
Portable Phone Charger: It is almost impossible to do a Disney World trip without using your phone since park days rely so heavily on the My Disney Experience App. Whether you want to be booking lighting lanes during the day, changing dining reservations, or simply want to document your trip, a portable phone charger is a must. My go to portable charger has been this one, but if you want a mag-safe options, then this one is great as well.
Ponchos: Quick down pours are the norm when it comes to Disney World if you are going any time between May and October. The daily showers tend to send guests out of the parks, but there’s no need to leave since they don’t last long. Come prepared with this family pack of ponchos. They are extremely expensive to buy in the parks .
Liquid I.V.: You will be sweating a lot if you are walking all day in the parks, so Liquid I.V. gives you an added boost to your water to keep you extra hydrated.
Reusable Straws: Disney has done away with plastic straws, so paper straws are your only option. Instead of dealing with the disintegrating paper, I have started bringing reusable travel straws that are metal, compact, and come with a cleaning brush. I even use them for my Resort Refillable mugs .
Ear Holder: I love wearing my Minnie Ears, don’t get me wrong, but Sometimes I just need a break from them. Instead of them taking up room in my park bag or squishing them, I just clip them to the handle of my back pack with this. A practical and a cute accessory all in one!
Blister Bandaids: No matter how comfortable your shoes are, blisters always pop up from time to time from all the walking you do in the parks. I keep blister bandaids in my park bag to put on as soon as I feel a blister starting.
Sunscreen: The Florida sun is no joke (as I’m sure you’ve gathered by now), but many underestimate just how strong it can be. Even if you think you won’t burn easily, wear the sunscreen. Again, this is available to purchase in the parks and at the resort’s, but it will be more expensive than if you buy it before and bring it with you.
Sharpies: These mini sharpies are perfect to throw in your park bag…especially if you’re a parent. Not only are they great as a back up for autographs, they are also great to label gift cards and resort-refillable mugs.
Autograph Books: Here is another practical Amazon must-have for Disney that is cheaper to purchase before your trip than to buy once you arrive in the Disney bubble.
All of these Amazon must-haves will make your time in the Disney parks more enjoyable, a little cooler, and may even save you a bit of money.
